PHOTOGRAPHIES / MASKS / OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS
In 2018, during several travels in America, from Canada to Mexico, I photographed with my analog cameras, the people
I met. To remember my first impression of them and the place where we first met, I packed and wrapped with yarns and ropes, bought or found in situ, the area of our first meeting. Then, with the same materials, I made masks inspired by traditional Mexican culture. A few days later I shot the same persons with those masks.
The thread of color, the intricacy, the invisible links who bind us to our land, to Nature, to others.
